The tailgater if similar to a poled tent in design, so this is the best comparison for use in windy conditions. There is not currently a video showing the setup of the Tailgater. thanks

The bag containing this travel pod is 670mm long x 240mm x 240mm and it weighs approx 10-15kg. There is a comprehensive booklet included with pictures showing how to install it, however, heres a Youtube video on how to set it up also: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbs8ePmMKHg. Good luck!

It packs away into a nice little bag (supplied) just like a tent, approx dimensions 700x250x200 when packed.
Yes it is very easy to setup, there are lots of videos on YouTube showing 1 person setting up.

I'm considering buying a footprint to go underneath. What size footprint / groundsheet should I purchase, that is, what is the actual size of the floor not the whole tent.

The floor size is approx 2.4Mx2.4M. The Tailgater that we sell comes complete with a clip in removeable floor so you shouldn't need to purchase an additional floor.
