Hi Issac and thanks for your enquiry. To set your caravan up for self containment, you'd need do the following to connect up to the Sink, tap and pump 12V set:1. Purchase 2x 37224 containers - one for the fresh water into the sink & one for the waste water out (you won't need to use the taps that come with these containers)

Hi Christian and thanks for your enquiry
We have a few of options for you - either our pump and tap kit (38210), priced at $119.99 or a Galley pump 20569, priced at $199.99 - either of which you would fit to a water container ( 37224 - $59.99). Otherwise you could buy a submersible pump and tap separately - eg 35461 ($59.99) & 39070 ($49.99) to connect to your sink and water tank. Theres also a pump that can be attached to a battery that has a spray head on the hose outlet (30365) for $129.99)? Typically motorhomes would have an inline pump from the water tank such as 31482 ($249.99), then have this connected to an accumulator tank to maintain pressure (89621 & $89.99), which you'd then connect to your tap on your sink.

You will also need fresh and waste water containers which may vary in size depending on how many people your camper is rated for. Please see NZMCA website self containment regs for full details.

Answer The Question
Hi, is this a self priming pump? Also in the Q&A you say you’ll also need to purchase screw lid attachments for the waste water and fresh water containers. Does the kit not come with the screw lids that are included in the photo? Would they not be sufficient to attach to the containers? Thanks :)
Question by: Kelly on 10/12/2022, 3:59 pm
The pump is submersible, so yes it is self priming. The kit does come with the two caps that fit to the water containers - we will need to amend the previous Q & A. You will also need a vent - please see 37227.
