Optimum bulk charge voltage for 25 degree C is 14.1V (for 12V systems) i.e. Gel battery type battery charger/regulator settings
Optimum float voltage for 25 degrees is 13.5V
Maximum bulk charge at 25 degrees is 14.4V, maximum float voltage is 13.8V
State of charge at open circuit voltage (for resting battery) 12.0V = 22%, 12.3V =50%, 12.84V =100%. For Marine and RV applications recommend discharges are to a maximum of 50% battery capacity otherwise battery longevity will be shortened
$5.99 standard freight rate for non-rural, shoe box sized deliveries. Additional charges apply for rural delivery, island delivery, dangerous goods and large packages.
Either the 75A/H or the 120A/H battery will store the solar energy from a 300W panel, but the key points are: 1. Ensure you are using an MPPT regulator so that the batteries are charged safely & correctly. 2. It would be recommended to do an audit of your electrical system energy requirements (ie what you are charging and the level of use of each item) to determine the sizing for your solar panel, battery storage requirements, wiring and regulator requirements. A checklist is available in our stores to assist with designing your system. Also, these batteries can discharge to 50% of their loading - so a 120A/H battery would give you approx. 60A/Hrs of power.
