Rotary Roof Vent

Is this iter absolutly weather proof in high wind and rain conditions? ie: will not leak rainwater.

We have sold a large number of these and when fitted as per manufacturer's spec they perform very well. As with any vent of this type in extreme driving rain and wind a small amount of water entry may be possible.

Answer The Question
I have had 2 of these vents in my horse float and looking to replace with a lower profile vent (allows float to be stored under shed cover).
Do you have any recommendations? Thanks

Answer The Question
What is the size of the projection into the cabin when this fitted, from the ceiling surface? I want to fit this in a sliding hatch and there’s clearance when sliding.

Hi Dave and thanks for your query
The base plate that fits to the ceiling is only 4mm thick, but then you'd need to allow for the screw/bolt heads also, as the base plate doesnt have countersunk holes.
