We’re fishing for a Product Manager with a strong knowledge of product lifecycles to join our Product Team at our Support Office in Half Moon Bay. Previous experience in buying/category management would be preferred but is not essential.
This is a key role that works closely with both external and internal stakeholders and provides a critical link between product, sales, marketing and inventory management to ensure we deliver on the customer’s requirements and the commercial return expectation. This role will have ownership on specific category ranges, lifecycle, and end of life management for all products.
As a crucial member of the team, you will ensure we meet and exceed both our internal and external targets on sales and stock obsolescence.

About you:
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have an in-depth understanding of Category Management, ideally in speciality retail. You'll love working in a fast-paced environment, with a methodical, logical and patient approach. You will be highly competent in Microsoft Office suite, with a keen eye for detail and high degree of accuracy. Using your excellent communication skills, you will be focused on gaining respect and trust across the business, to deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Management of all stock items in our system to ensure we meet the given SLA’s and KPI’s, both internal and external
- Weekly stock analysis to understand weeks of inventory and forecasting of all products to determine future purchasing.
- Understand and share monthly overview of aged inventory and stock risk.
- Develop and provide lifecycle management and clearance recommendations to the product and sales teams to activate.
- Maintain stock data integrity including planning and have a good understanding at the status of stock in the group
- Provide monthly reporting to track stock against defined KPI’s such as weight of stock, days cover in channel and warehouse, aged stock risk profile, instock availability including reporting and action plans on any variance.
- Suggest new products for the range and work with relevant product managers to build pricing and samples to present to customers.
- Develop and assist to implement channel marketing programs to change behaviour and sales mix to achieve defined KPI’s.
- Work with operations, web, marketing and product teams to introduce new products and manage lifecycles.
