Product Questions
Does the VSR feature function as a dual VSR? i.e. If you have solar panels providing charge but the alternator not running, does it charge the House battery and then also charge the Starter battery from the solar? Cheers.

The answer from the Renogy website is: Yes, "the charger will Trickle Charge the service battery and maintain its fully charged status, and will also Trickle Charge the starting battery via solar panels. The (built in) VSR also ensures reliable isolation between the starting battery and service battery, avoiding charging interference."

The exact answer was in the Renogy instruction manual: "Solar Panel Input 2.2 If the service (House) battery is in float charge stage, the starting battery will be charged at the same time."
