An affordable anchor for boats wanting to upgrade from a Danforth. These galvanized traditional "Plough" design anchors are well-finished and offer great value. They are excellent for soft bottom anchoring, and their self-righting design provides quick setting and accommodates directional changes. The Maxset anchor is also ideal for those with a windlass winch who want to leave their anchor in the bowsprit for helm-operated dropping and hauling in.
