Unlike the flat card option, this model features a conical card which is more beneficial if you are generally looking straight on the compass, i.e from the side. It is graduated every 5°, and heading numerals every 30°. The articulated protective hood, featuring a built-in sliding cover, shields the compass.
It has LED lighting suitable for 12V/24V inbuilt so it is easily visible during the night or early morning while also featuring a magnetic cell complete with a vibration absorber, and the compass boasts watertight construction.
